Message	the only way I can see for you to test its strength is by removing it. That way you could see if it's possible to physically overpower the solenoid. Once you go to the trouble of removing the solenoid, replace it anyway (no matter what the results of your test) Preventative maintenance Mine were working perfectly but I replaced them both when I had the chance.
